Award-winning Heather Irvine has been a contemporary wildlife, equestrian and nature-inspired artist for over 20 years. In 2012, Heather won BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year and for the past 10 years, has been a finalist in the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year competition. In 2020, Heather founded Artists for Painted Dogs to help raise awareness and funds for the African Painted Dog. Heather visited the South Luangwa National Park in 2016.
